Eco Diamond | Conflict Free Diamonds

Diamonds from Canada and other areas of the world are increasingly referred to as conflict free diamonds. While we believe that avoiding war-sponsoring diamonds is a step in the right direction, we feel that calling these diamonds and gems conflict free is a bit misleading.

Diamonds from the Canada and the Artic are steeped in conflict because many of the local residents were not eager to give up their pristine wilderness to be replaced by a diamond mine. Please see Canadian diamonds for more information.
